Little over a year ago I started seeds of Phyllostachys Edulis, this is the result.

Re: Moso seedling
Looks good, nice work, I have no patience for growing seedlings and generally kill them all.

Re: Moso seedling
Your p.edulis look gorgeous. I've currently got a few seedlings going as well. Planted at the end of June/early July, they're not exactly taking off quickly. Did yours take a while to jump out of the gate, or did they take off quickly?
Re: Moso seedling
Those look good to me. Discord, eh? Are there any gardening/bamboo discord channels I'm missing?

Re: Moso seedling
okay in order...
needmore: thanks! I had really good success with the seeds I bought actually and had quite a few of them growing quite healthy but they really struggled in the winter as I had them inside and I lost most of them and now I'm down to this guy.
bren: again thank you! I found that they were quite slow at first but once they start shooting they mature at a decent rate. I wish I had a picture of what this plant looked like this spring, you would be amazed at how much it has grown.
Rufledt: they look good to me as well. there isn't that I know of but that could be easily changed!
