Pleioblastus maculatus shoots, shooting like a Pleioblastus, far and often

Phyllostachys sp. 'Shanghai 3', surely a form of Phy dulcis, already at the edge of the island, looks like rhizome pruning time this year

Borinda fungosa, fall shoots leafing out now, I suspect the spring crop might exceed 3-4m? Big growth in one year from a 5 gallon pot with a few culms.

Bambusa multiplex 'Alphonse Karr' on the right and Bambusa ventricosa centered, this one keep bellying and as such is staying short and lush.

It looks like your plants are really thriving!

How often do you have to irrigate during the summer?

Last summer was first summer for everything so I gave essentially a daily soaking to everything for a few months running.

Nice, it will likely be 5 or 6 weeks until I see my first shoots.
