Shanghai 3 went from a 3 foot culm to this in a few months

But Phy primontina did better, the tip is up out of the photo, this had has been remaining small in the pot for more than 2 years and finally!

Pl maculatus is a very fine bamboo, I wish I could get it in ground.

I dug one hunk of sod and have 3 species in the pot, Shibataea lancifolia, Pl akebono, and Pl kongosanensis

nice. all my stuff seems to be stalling or just pushing slow. of course its been cool and wet up here the last few weeks off and on

Looking good. I have a bunch in pots too. I bet it's killing you too not having a place to plant them. My Potted prominens is putting up some way bigger shoots than I expected. Wish I had a spot in the ground for it and my Shanghai 3. Going to be some years before that happens. Have to buy a house with some land, or maybe buy an extra lot or something.

Not very wise on my part, living in a drought and having to water along with 2 years in pots and then what next? Either we buy and settle in CA or move back to HI in which case Cooper 12 will get lots of very large pots of bamboo.

Did you see this Jason, you'll need a bigger truck!
