Yunnan 4 ( Borinda/Fargesia edulis/lushuiensis)

Took a couple of pics of this from the oldest UK plant, planted seven years ago and now looks to have matured, it's an amazing sight 8) . It was always thought this was slightly tender with a lot of sites listing -2/-4 , mine here has had no damage with -6 c , yet some German growers have said plants have survived -14c , though I'm not sure if the plants suffered in this cold. Anyone have any first hand experience with this one.

Bamboo...Please note... This plant is seriously addictive and you may lose interest in other, less rewarding plants!

Amazing Bamboo Mark , is that a pic from Mike Bells place ?
So that's another one for the Jos shopping trip list come Spring.
Does the Yunnan 3a develope into a similar form of plant?
