I could not keep back the picture of this impressiv shoot.
It's really Fargesia robusta. The owner is a friend of mine in the Netherlands.
It's planted about 6 years ago and the hight now is nearly 4,5m.

KPC, What zone is your buddy in? Full sun? I still haven't prepared my bed so I can still go back to my first choice of Fargesia robusta instead of the shorter Rufa that the local grower suggested.
