I don't know if Cancun would be a good place to be right about now.

Maybe if we latch enough boo together, we could build our own bridge. You can even take the first trip across it.

Maybe if I climbed up into my clump of Clone X and bent some culms over, then the tops might reach Cancun.

I had a mini-tornado in my backyard early evening today. It blew over a big tree and it is partly in my neighbor's yard and has the Clone X auction plant covered with limbs. Hopefully the Clone X will be OK. I'll be able to check things out tomorrow and get some pictures. My B. oldhamii had a good number of the culms to "explode" with the big oak tree falling on them.

All is well. Just one little branch broken.

BTW: Are we still on for a Spring Internet Auction? (Summer is about a month away)

The auction starts on Sunday. :D I should be able to finish loading the current donations tomorrow.

Well then, I'd better get an updated picture to show what the plant currently looks like. I trimmed all the oak tree limbs from around it this afternoon. It definitely still looks healthy.

I am feeling a bit sheepish about the response... a couple of folks really helped out, but some (many) of the ones that emaild me and said they would be donating never got anything over, even with a polite reminder email....

that being said, there is a couple of desireable runners, and a couple of desireable tropical clumpers, so everyone start emptying your penny jars!

I just received 7 more plant donations so after I get them loaded I will let them run till June 6th so people can have time to bid on them.

There is still a couple of hours left to bid on the late donations.
A number of plants do not have any bids on them so now is the time to pick up a low cost rare bamboo.
