10,000th Post Fast Approaching

Post by Roy »

The 10,000th post is fast approaching. The poster making the 10,000th will be awarded a Phy. parvifolia. See "Terms & Conditions" below the image of Phy. parvifolia.*

<img src="http://www.bambooweb.info/images/bamboo ... _shoot.jpg" alt="PHYLLOSTACHYS parvifolia ">
*The 10,000th poster will receive the rights to viewing the above image of Phy. parvifolia for life.**
**"Life" equals the death of the 10,000th poster or the Phy. parvifolia flowering; which ever comes sooner.

By the time I get my hands on a Parvifolia, it would probably start to flower and then the world would end. :roll:

:D :D :D

Cant help but think of Steve(France) leaving one behind for the 'renters' , hopefully with full instructions on the watering and mulching regime :shock: but then coming to the drought ridden parvifloia lands.

I wonder if he'll try a sneak a rhizome in... :wink:
Bamboo...Please note... This plant is seriously addictive and you may lose interest in other, less rewarding plants!

How about if he cuts the rhizomes into finger lengths and then tapes them to his fingers on one hand and puts on an extra large glove. He can just say he has a warts on his hand and can't take his glove off or the spores will infect whoever is in the vicinty... :lol:

I don't know. 10,000 post will be hard to prove. I'll just say it was me, until someone can prove otherwise. Don't worry david, you were 9999. That should count for something.

BREAKING NEWS: The parvifolia was just added. :D

P.s. This is only a test, if a real Parvifolia was ever offered it would cause mass chaos and ultimately, the end of that " pot of gold at the end of the rainbow quest"... :lol:

There is a Phyllostachys kwangsiensis in the auction, and some people might be willing to put a second mortgage on their home for it. It looks to be out of my price range already. Time to head down to the pawn shop and sell my michael jordan cards. 8)

I don't know, there are others besides parvifolia to be hyped about. I'm just as fascinated with the descriptions of kwangsiensis, prominens, and shanghai3.
