Would anyone be interested if I added a rss feed from the forum?

I looked at this before and I can't figure out what use it is to me--RSS feed. Looks somewhat like gibberish to me. I must be missing something.

Roy,
Basically a rss feed would feed the posts to a personal web page or other rss reader.
It would only be useful to a small number of people but it could increase the viewers of the forum. Currently it is a low priority but I downloaded some instructions to look at.

I have tons of rss feeds on my MyYahoo! page. I love them for getting a quick update of multiple sites at the same time. I probably have 20 sites all bunched onto one page, so I just have to go to my Yahoo page to see anything new. Very nice. 8)

Can you post how it looks to you? What I posted above is what I normally see and that's no good to me. Got to be something in the setup process.

Thanks Mantis. It's all in knowing how to setup and knowing what to do. I knew there had to be sometime more positive about RSS feeds than what I was comprehending. I'm going to have to look into it a little bit more and try to figure some things out. Your page look nice and very informative.

Does the converter I added look like it will work?

Works great for me. Perhaps you could add a translation from "Southern Redneck" to "Standard English". My wife seems not to understand me at times, and particular at times when I think I making a perfectly good argument on a point in dispute between the two of us. :D

I thought about putting in a W.A.G to Reality conversion that would divide by a random number. It would be useful to get the actual size of plants seen while driving by a grove 5 years ago. :)

Definitely size and height of culm is definitely related to time. I remember seeing a Bambusa bambos culm south of Miami in 1990 and it was well over a foot in diameter.
