You can also add your own personal avatar. I used photobucket, and resized it to be small enough to use.

I've tried that and even though I get them to the 80Xx80 and less than 6k, I get an error when trying to upload. I've prefer jpeg, but I've tried gif and that hasn't worked either. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong, but I don't know what. :?:

The image I use is in photobucket. 80x60 and 2 k, jpg. I had to try more than one photo to get appropriate size. Sometimes when a photo is shrunk the k is still too big, such ex. 30x20 and the image is still at 7k. No one is even going to see an image that small. :?

I think the photobucket image needs to be transferred over into this box in profile
Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

And this is what I copied into that :
Urlhttp://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a254/lkz5ia/ferretkadie.jpg

I'm sure there are other ways of doing this, but this way worked for me.

If you have photobucket and pics downloaded in it, you are one step further.

IN photobucket there is these under the pic
Url http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a254/ ... HEAVEN.jpg
Tag <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"> <img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a254/lkz5ia/HEAVEN.jpg " border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>
Img Image

As you can see, the tag and image is the easiest, because image automatically appears when tag/image is pasted over in the forum.

Url Image

can appear as image in forum when highlighted and imagebutton is used.

And to resize pic in photobucket, you go to edit button right over the pic.

I do have a bunch of South Park avatars but I did not know if they would be appropriate for a bamboo forum.

Are you serious? over 2ft of snow. Sounds like your opening a ski resort.
