Shooting times
I thought it would be nice if possible to list what month, or likely months that each different bamboo shoots when mature.

Re: Shooting times
That's a hard one for me. If we get normal rains (rains when it is expected to rain and in the appropiate amounts), then my B. malingensis is one of my earlier shooter in late April and early May. This year my B. malingensis started putting up new shoots in early July.Bamboo Conne'isseur wrote:I thought it would be nice if possible to list what month, or likely months that each different bamboo shoots when mature.

RE: Shooting times
Yeah, I see what you mean, it could be variable. Maybe a general guideline such as early shooter or late shooter or maybe mid season, with possible month(s)?
