Roy, user #482 (Havis) has a division of one of your Clone-X. I asked if he wanted to trade for a cutting of it, but then he sent me a pic... if I only planted the Clone-X it would put a canopy over my yard and my neighbors on both sides of me.

It's liking the gulf coast.

I'll see if I can get Scott to post a pic of it tomorrow.

I always wondered how it would do in Texas. Here's my clump in my backyard. Way too much of a good thing.

And get this for a statistic: exactly 50 percent of the members have posted at least one post. 250 posted at least one post/250 have never posted.

It doesn't bother me that people join and then don't ever post. What bothers me is that I recognize a good number of names on the membership list who are people who have a good bit of knowledge about bamboo and they are not posting. Their postings would add greatly to the knowledge base of this forum. Of course, I don't want to harass these people, but I'm somewhat :( saddened :( that they don't post and share some of their knowledge and experience pertaining to bamboo.

I don't know, alot of people don't feel comfortable using the internet. Usually it occurs to old fogies, but I notice there are some, that post quite frequently here.

45,000 posts or 1000 members? I'd bet dollars to donuts we'll get the 1000 members. 8)

bigone500: I notice when I click on your name and look at your profile the URL has the string "u=1055" in it. You could be user 1055 by that count. Do we count the users that were deleted when it was discovered they were spambots in disguise? Should I count myself as user 12 or 14?
