Errors today!

Post by foxd »

I keep getting error messages today, but can finally get the pages by hitting refresh. Is Bambooweb under attack?
Southern Indiana.
My Bamboo List.

The legal issues that will arise when the undead walk the earth are legion, and addressing them all is well beyond what could reasonably be accomplished in this brief Essay. Indeed, a complete treatment of the tax issues alone would require several volumes.

It looks like we ran past the max queries again at the same time as they updated the server.
I have now spread out the load over 10 users from 5 and we now have 300,000Mb of storage available. It is amazing that after the update all of the photos we have take up only one % of the space available. We also have 3000Gb of bandwidth available
I guess we will have to start hosting bamboo videos.

Don't say it unless you are serious.

I think we are under attack again. I'm beginning to have some of the same problems as we had a few weeks back. The day after 9/11...........

I contacted ipower 7 hours ago and after waiting 40 minutes on hold I was told that the server was down. It is amazing that people can make posts while the server is down.

I am looking at other web hosts but I just renewed here and I would hate to pay twice for hosting so I emailed the billing department at ipower asking if I could get a refund. I guess I could move the site to another host and change the domain here to www.ipowersux.com

I just got off the phone with ipower. After being on hold for 30 min I got a tech that actually tried to help. Unfortunately he did not have access to the tools needed troubleshoot the net. He did bump up the support ticket to Tier 3 support to get a tech that does have the tools to check things out.

Unfortunately I could not stay on the phone with them because they had to shutdown and restart their phone system. :?

Update  the wait for tech support was 45 min today and the tech that I talked to contacted the tier 3 support techs and they have two people working on the problem. They have found where the problem is located and promised that it would be fixed within two hours.

And two hours later I'm still having problems... mostly with the image server.

Wonderful :x After 13 hours of no DSL because of Centurytel. I see the site is still screwed up.

The good thing is at 1:00 AM the wait time for tech support is only 15 minutes. The bad news is the only advice the tech had is to call the billing department when they open up and put in a request to move the site to a new physical server. Last time he said that they only moved the site to a new section on the same machine. :banghead:

I have to go through billing in order to not have to pay the $50 moving charge. I was told that billing should be see the list of support requests and wave the fee.
