A year or so ago, when I first started looking at this information, I would normally see registered members out number "guest" by a huge margin. Now the opposite is true. There are a lot of people reading this forum who are not members. What does this all mean?

In total there are 11 users online :: 2 Registered, 0 Hidden and 9 Guests
In total there are 8 users online :: 1 Registered, 0 Hidden and 7 Guests
In total there are 9 users online :: 1 Registered, 1 Hidden and 7 Guests
In total there are 6 users online :: 3 Registered, 0 Hidden and 3 Guests
In total there are 10 users online :: 1 Registered, 0 Hidden and 9 Guests
In total there are 11 users online :: 3 Registered, 1 Hidden and 7 Guests
In total there are 6 users online :: 1 Registered, 0 Hidden and 5 Guests

I think lot of people are not logging in.
Here is a report of the number of visits per person for the last month for just the forum part of the website.

Another thing I've noticed is that there used to be a lot of times that I'd visit, and I'd be the only person on here (member or guest), but now there are always 6 or 7 people on the board... which confuses me because it seems like the number of daily posts is slowing down despite the increase in members/visitors. :?:

If you have too many browsers opened up to the forum, then the numbers are artificially inflated.

Nah, it isn't that. I think it is due to my extremely poor grammar.

I wish!
It was just a vacation.
I live in between Pittsburgh and Washington PA and am moving a little closer to Washington. All bamboo is accounted for and ready to go. Problem I may run into is closing on my new house in November or later. I'll have to cover all the pots with dirt and hope they survive. I will have more garage space thought.

So what do I make of this? Is the guests in which I am browsing along just part of my imagination?

Isn't the IP Address logged to give us some clue as to what is going on with all the guests?

"The Shadow Knows!" (Maybe you are old enough to remember that one) Bill being the Shadow. :D

I checked the IPs of guest online now and I saw that Google, Yahoo, and MSN are being counted as guests. Someone on XO is also trying use an automated bot to bypass the login procedure to post a spam message.
