Collectors List

Post by fredgpops »

Would like to see a section where collectors can list their plants plus when they may have divisions of the listed plant. 1) Folks can exchange info about plants they are growing or may want to grow. 2) It will help facilitate exchanges/trades. Rgds Fred

That sounds like a good idea. I will have to look at that after I get back from the ABS convention.

I like the idea of being able to compare notes. I think that it will make Bambooweb an even greater resource. I would also suggest that there be a place for miscellaneous notes such as pH, soil preps, exposure etc.

Nate,

Take a look at http://www.bambooweb.info/DataEntry.php. The site is set up to record the data but I have not had time to get the output screens done.

I'm one of 3 that have put info on the Growth Data Base. It's too complex for most collectors and requires too much time for most collectors. Overly detailed info shd not be on the collector list. The questions can be asked and answered later after a dialog is established via the collectors list. If it is not kept simple, then folks won't volunteer initial info. Rgds - Fred
