Rise and fall in fall

Beginning of fall Thamnocalamus crassinodus looked content to fill out some spring shoots yet about a dozen shoots rose with a couple clearing the existing clump. Just second season in the ground may explain the off timing, if not the relentless rain maybe…

I agree with Brad, that Thamnocalamus is beautiful!
