another flavor;
summer mornings Jiuzhaigou 1
slowly fading spring sheaths blend with deep dark summer sheaths
beneath a gentle canopy

a look back at the spring of crassinodus and the fall of ‘Jiuzhaigou 1’ as this thread has run its course…

wild orange sheaths of ‘Pingwu’ I think
2015 it’s first year in the ground the orange was overwhelming as there was no competition
though 2016 was intense up close mixing with yellow/green leaves and chocolate/purple culms
spring 2017 shows Feb. shoots with the orange spreading up the culms

At my age I only see details on a computer screen
See not what I shoot when I shoot
Luckily, walking away from a computer is easy
