I don't think so, but I wish I could teach them to rhizome prune!

Since I started growing bamboo, there are soooo many cool critters in the yard! It's awesome!

Lizards are cool to see in Bamboo. Here i see birds and flies; though I know I will see a Prey Mantis someday.

SInce colonists destroyed the population of the native Arundinaria species, there has been an empty niche in the ecosystem. People planting boo in the US are technically helping the wildlife that is used to having bamboo as shelter/food.

I cant be the only one who sees the irony in colonists destroying bamboo, and "new" americans planting it en masse :D

This would be a very smart line of defence against the proposed ban in Connecticut, see Banned thread!

I'd run with that if I were in Connecticut or elsewhere.

Someone in the article comments mentioned that there was a native species of bamboo and was promptly mocked by the bamboo banners for believing Yellow Groove was native. :banghead:

Vengance, fear and greed are driving this bamboo ban.
