I also found another guy on there that has a bunch of really good cold hardy boo shots.

Nate,
Thanks - not sure who that guy is, but he has Gib listed as a contact. Many nice pics and you have a decent start too....

I really like your photos! What sort of post-processing do you do on them (although it probably differs depending on the image)?

You do have a typo on this bamboo name: Sasaella masamuneana.

I still can't type that one out without making a mistake, so I usually copy and paste it from another doc. :)

I also cut and paste usually but apparently I messed up on the spelling the first time.
I still shoot the old fashioned way.... film any how after I get it developed I have it transferred to digital and then do editing with adobe photoshop or picasa.

Thats pretty impressive considering the little green pot only had 2 little culms on it back in January so you probably planted it back in October. 5ft in 9 months, you must be doing something right. My 2 1/2 month old plants are only maxing out at about 8 inches tall now with 4-6 canes and I'm hoping on having some pass the 3ft mark by their 1 year mark.

Do you keep it inside a greenhouse with raised humidity levels to get those results?

No secrets only that the flikr account probably shows an incorrect date on the picture, the first moso shot was actually taken 2/21/06

Went to Eric_in_Layton's house a couple weeks ago. I took some pictures of his bamboos and posted them on my flikr account for anyone interested. The pictures of the Yellow Groove and Decora the other pictures are from my garden
