This link https://picasaweb.google.com/1175478208 ... directlink shows what my Madake looks like. I'll try to update with some better pics later on.

I planted 2 small plants about 18 years ago in head high pines trees and they have now spread about 130 feet or more diameter. Some places they are much thicker. This was just today's best pic.

That link didn't work.

Tip: Use the "Preview" button to test before clicking the "Submit" button.

Hmmmm, i tested it when posting and it worked. I even tested it in a separate browser after clearing cache. And it works for me today.

I edited that album from "Viewable to Anyone with the Link" to anyone on the web, so maybe that will do the trick. Or maybe not. I still haven't mastered reducing size to embed the pic here.

Maybe that will work :)

Yes, it works now. At least I can see a photo of somebody (you?) standing next to a pretty huge culm. I'd love to see more photos of the grove!

There's some guy in those pictures blocking the view. Ya might ask him to move out of the way next time you take some pictures.

:) his ugly mug helps give context to size of bamboo - otherwise i agree heartily :)

Pics were taken by the ugly guy by holding Canon Sureshot Camera at arm's length.
