I am in zone 9a, they both seem to tolerate temps here. Would be mostly for ornamental. Which one looks the best in your opinion. Color, size, shape, number of shoots?

Purely my opinion, B. Pervariabilis viridistriata (sunburst) is a more appealing plant with regards to overall appearance. It’s culms are larger in diameter, taller and the plant is a bit less bushy as the leaves are smaller. It’s not as quick to mature as B. Eutuldoides Viridivittata (Asian lemon) If I was looking for a specimen or a focal point, Sunburst. If I was looking for a fast growing, bushy screen, Asian lemon. Just my opinion. I have a lot of Asian lemon in the ground and it does well even without being watered. If you take care of it, it shoots like crazy.
