2nd World Bamboo Training Course (Aug18-28 @ Kunming China)

Hi folks,
I have just booked my ticket to Beijing (nonstop from DTW) Aug 16-Sept3 to join the training course. I have arranged additional factory tours in textiles and activated charcoal processing plants (my focus). Just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone else had given any thought to participating? I basically had to sell my (work) soul to do this but I'm hoping it pays future dividends. I feel it is a little over priced for some information that most nurseries here in the states would give up for free if you lend a helping weekend hand but the factory tours I'm hoping will provide invaluable discussion topics in order to jumpstart my entrance into a mass cultivation (1,000 acres) of bamboo over the next decade here in the states.
