Does anyone have experience or advice on whether "Green Screen" is any better or worse or different than the type? I know both may be only marginally hardy in my zone (though reports seem to vary) but I think it's worth trying and I'm not sure which to get.
Thanks!

RE: F. robusta "Green Screen"--quick question
Green Screen is just the tissue cultured propagation version of a "superior" clone of robusta, whatever that means? Talk about subjective on what is defined as superior. It's a juvenile plant in a 2 gallon version so probably not hardened off to make it through a harsh winter until it matures a little. I'd keep it in a green house and let it get some size before planting out in marginal zones.
My 2 gallon 2 foot tall last season sent up numerous 6 foot culms this spring and is extremely robust (what better word to use...) I've sold dozens of them the last few months and they perform beautifully here in Portland. They are not time tested though so ask me again in five years or so.........

Thanks for the information!
Maybe I'll just not get emotionally attached to anything I plant.
