This lead me to Don Jensen outside Auburn, WA. He has a part time bamboo nursery with a number of unidentified bamboos and bamboos that have come through the PNWC quarantine station.
His place is a must see but a number of his bamboos have grown together and has a number of broken culms, but the sheer size of his Ph. nigra 'Megurochiku' more than makes up for that. There were also a few large Bashania shoots but we could not tell which plants they were from.
Here is his information from www.specialtynurseries.org
