Asianflora Magazine--Newsletter Article on Bamboo

Post by Roy »

C?dric Basset of Asian Flora < http://www.asianflora.com/ > also publishes Asianflora Magazine and pages 4 thru 14 of the current edition are devoted to bamboo. This is a French magazine and the .pdf document has been translated into English, so there are a few phrases that don't quite match up in English or is that American. I have posted the .pdf document at the link below.

Some of you may recognize some of C?dric's photography. C?dric was kind enough to let the gallery at Bambooweb.info use over 300 of his bamboo pictures.

The file name is: Bamboo2_Asianflora.pdf?

Nice article. Thanks. The descriptions and photos look interesting. The translation makes it fun to read.

Thuja,

I got to know C?dric when I was soliciting pictures for the gallery at Bambooweb.info. He sends a pdf copy to me every month of his magazine publication. The bamboo article was in the 2nd of a 5 part group of pdf documents. He is an excellent photographer and I believe a botanists.

His website is a little bit hard for me to find things, but here's a link to the bamboo section:

http://www.asianflora.com/Poaceae/liste_poaceae.htm

Just click on the bamboo names. The names of the bamboos are active links, even though they don't look like it.
