Could any of you guys tell me any information on Phyllostachys bambusoides f. shouzhu yi and does it have any different names synonyms many thanks

I do not know anything about it, but it is listed here:

No synonyms are listed.

I think this might be the original description, but you may have to access it through a university or library, and it might be written in Chinese:

Page 115 of the CHinese compendium says differ from the original form with the young culm being slightly pruinose with longer internodes.

Thanks Glen and brad, brad is that from A Compendium of Chinese Bamboo? its funny if it is as that is the book I am currently looking to buy but it’s not easy to octane in uk

Yes, that's it. I don't find it to be a must have but as an occasional reference it can be of some interest.
