Tamarillo Plant

Post by foxd »

Last year I got a couple of seeds to sprout from a tamarillo I bought at Jungle Jim's. Yesterday I finally had it bloom!

I had to zoom in to take the picture since the bloom was way up in the air. It is also larger than it looks since the leaves are about a foot long.

Due to various logistical problems the plant is not going into the basement this Winter.

I now know that it needs sunlight for most of the day in order to develop blooms. Certainly explains a lot.

The legal issues that will arise when the undead walk the earth are legion, and addressing them all is well beyond what could reasonably be accomplished in this brief Essay. Indeed, a complete treatment of the tax issues alone would require several volumes.
