At least I can pretend to be in the tropics during this arctic snap, hopefully we'll stay a few degrees north of zero the next 2 nights but I surely do feel for the Iowa, Wisc. Minn. WA etc folks who are south of zero.
Still 12 weeks to go before these ultra-cold sensitive guys can really go back out.

Yeah, I have some bananas down in the basement waiting, but clearly I don't have as much green clutter in my house as what you look to have around there(I'm working on changing that. Greenery around living quarters suppose to help the mind, especially on these cold days).
Is that a pic of the fruiting papaya you were talking about?
Yesterday was quite a nice day. There was some snow blowing around and off sorts, but a nice 18F. I was able to walk a few miles and enjoy the scenery.
But -6F was the low this morning. Lucky if it is much warmer than 0F for today's high. Where is booking's cabin fever post, I think something of that nature is affecting me in IOWA 'the best climate north of the arctic circle' or however that motto goes.
