J. maples, Beeches, and The Kid

Post by Iowaboo »

Bambookid, I opened up this thread, so if your were serious about aquiring euro beeches and japanese maples. You can talk about them here. So much variety out in this world,
once you plant, you can't stop. 8)

I'm interested in pics. I've seen a lot of cool non-bamboo stuff in other pictures from his garden/yard. I would assume that some of the new aquires are also neat. Another question I have is where the heck he's gonna put them! Don't think anything is on the roof yet.......

Yes, I ran out of real estate a long time ago. Time to start looking for some new digs somewhere which has a few acres and a better climate. 8)
In the meantime, I'll keep alot in containers.

Define better climate? Isn't jersey relatively mild :?:
What's keeping you New Jersey; A great job, a gun club, water rights. :?:

Ha, you had me going for a second there. I was looking to see if we had any new users recently, because I didn't remember a bambooking

Yeah, certain climates are quite fantastic, but they also tend to be overpopulated and overpriced.

Lance,

Unfortunately it is rather overpriced just like a lot of cities out here.
The trick is too find an excellent climate with about 10 acres for a reasonable price. The search will continue.

Both were planted in '98

As you can see, the grass is creeping up on my common purple beeches in spring. I don't do so swell with slow growing ornamentals. My way is to fight grass with grass. I'll turn my whole freak'n place into a bamboo thicket.

Eat dust, evildoer(brome,bluegrass) :!:
