I have both Timor & Atro growing here as well. My Timor black culms are more dark brown/ almost black. I think they become more shiny black in the shade rather than a sunny position.

Im no expert but looks like a type of Large clumper to me. Maybe a Gigantochloa of some kind

Is this a Bambusa Lako?
Hi guys, im from Northern NSW Australia.
I grew this plant from seed bought from Ebay.
It was supposed to be Bambusa Lako (Timor Black) but its still to young for me to tell if it really is so I need the help of an expert.
