Hello All: I now have about 3 dozen tiny Sasa senanensis seedlings in the ground from previous plants that flowered/seeded (harvested most of the seeds from a 5' by 10' bed). Thanks for info. If clear lid would cook them(I was really thinking of bowl like thing), what size coldframe would not be too small.

I suggest finding some locally, ask around, mention indoors. Look around outside for some, look for deep shade.

Hi: I am no expert, but if it were me I see two choices 1, Foster in greenhouse. 2. Gently pull plants from container, shake off dirt and put in a trench or holes in ground. plant a little bit deeper and leave concave area around plants, use huge amounts of mulch (leaves, grass clippings, etc., conc...
